Wear United FC Youth Teams Under 14s played their first game in 4 weeks this morning at Craghead Milan being the only team in the league with 100% record but with a few games in hand over their rivals.

The first half was tight and scrappy with most of the ball being stuck in the middle of the pitch. For the first 25 minutes. Both teams had chances to get forward but the defence either said held strong and shots on goal were slim.

Wear started to get a grip on the game and put pressure on with some nice passing play, but the first half finished 0-0.

It took 15 minutes after the restart for the first breakthrough, and it was Wear who broke the deadlock when Alfie scored a lovely finish I give us the lead.

Just a minute later, a loose ball bounced towards David who lofted the ball beautifully over the top of the Craghead defender into the path of Alfie again who struck a fierce shot over the oncoming keeper I tot he top of the net to give Wear a 2-0 lead.

Wear managed to keep the ball in the final third for much of the remaining minutes, and with the very last kick of the game following a goalmouth scramble, Levi struck a rocket low into the bottom right corner ending the game at 3-0 to Wear.

5 wins out of 5 in the league now. Massive improvement from the boys who should be very proud of their hard work and determination in another tough game.
