United travelled south to face Thornaby for the second time in a matter of weeks hoping to avoid another defeat after the first game ended 3-2 in Thornaby's favour

The game started well with Mark Naile scoring direct from a corner after a few minutes to put United in front but somehow Thornaby rallied and grabbed two quick goals to go into the break 2-1 up

United though continued their second half strong performances and managed to level when Colin Hagan cut inside and found the back of the net and then United went infront again when Colin turned provider crossing from the right which was met with a perfect header from Mark Naile

Thornaby did manage to draw level and both teams had chances to win it but a draw was probably a fair result

So many positives for United from today - the first league win of the season is coming
