A defeat on the opening day of the season for the Over 40's but a game in which a draw would have been a fair result

United took the lead before the half hour when Chris Madden pulled the ball back and Colin Hagan managed to beat the keeper from the edge of the box

Darsley Park levelled soon after and it was 1-1 at half time

Both teams had chances to win the game but the winner was scored by Darsley Park in the 57th minute

A disappointing result overall when a draw would have been a fair result.

Plenty positives to take from the game though - roll on next week
