United took on Whitburn & Cleadon in their 3rd preseason friendly and after a win and a defeat, completed the set with a draw

It looked like United were going to run away with it after going 2-0 up within 5 minutes after goals from Richy Bland and Macer Green but the hosts pulled one back with 5 minutes of the half remaining to make it 1-2

The second half was like watching a re-run of England v Argentina where. apart from a few chances, United were camped in their own half for the majority of the half and eventually the pressure told and the equaliser was scored with 5 minutes left.

Some positives to take from the game and plenty minutes in the tank - roll on Killingworth next week
