A squad of 15 travelled through to Stanley looking to get back to winning ways but it was Stanley who took the 3 points to leave United winless in 4 games
Stanley were the better team in the first half as United kept giving them the ball but at half time the lads were up for the second half and were hoping to create and take chances but within 5 minutes of the restart Iain Ray was shown a red card for foul and abusive language and this meant United had to play the majority of the second half with 10 men.
United ended up playing 4-4-1 and struggled to get forward and eventually conceded on 65 minutes.
United did have a couple of chances with the best a one on one for Richy Bland but the bobble on the pitch allowed the keeper to make a save
All round not good enough though and 3 defeats on the bounce for United. Have to improve for Wednesday night
