United played their first midweek league game of the season as they welcomed Heighington to Silksworth
A squad of 17 was available and United changed formation to try and put behind them a poor run of games and it worked as United went home with the 3 points
United flew out of the blocks and found themselves 2-0 up after 7 minutes. A first ever goal for man of the match Scott Stoker from outside the box was then added too by a trademark Steve Walls diving header.
It calmed any United nerves and allowed the lads to play some decent football but no more goals were scored and Heighington pulled one back before half time when a corner was met with a free header.
The whistle went and United led 2-1 at the break
Again United played some decent stuff in the second half but couldn't go any further in front and this led to a nervy final 10 minutes as Heighington created a few chances but United held firm and went home with the win
Full Time 2-1 to United
