United took on Seaton Carew knowing after the defeat last Friday that only a win would do to keep the title dreams alive
However, United fell short and suffered back to back defeats
Steve Walls pulled up in the warm up so couldn't start and 10 minutes into the game Graeme Turner couldn't continue due to a back injury and Colin Hagan came on to replace him
Seaton went into the break 1-0 up and United made a couple of changes with Paul Tunstall & Craig Averre replacing Michael Smith & Andy Meikle
United also changed formation and were controlling the game but somehow Seaton managed to grab a second goal which then turned into 3-0
United brought on Ian Pattison for Rob Weiss and thought they had pulled a goal back when Colin Hagan curved a shot past the keeper but despite the ball being over the line the referee disallowed the goal as Mark Naile touched the ball from an offside position and the goal was ruled out
With 3 minutes left United did find the net when Colin Hagan's free kick was converted by Andy Reay but it was too little too late and United came back up the A19 with nothing
