United returned home to take on Rolls Royce who share the pitch with United and pipped the lads to second place in the league last season on the final game so United were out for revenge

For the first time in a number of weeks, United had a big squad available and it was hard to pick the starting 11 but the selection seemed right as United dominated early on and took the lead after only 7 minutes when Andy Reay played a ball over the top which Rob Weiss latched onto and he pulled it back to Steve Walls who hit the ball first time into the net from 7 yards out 1-0 to United

Rolls Royce somehow levelled on 10 minutes with their first chance when the ball rolled to the edge of the box and United couldn't get a man in front of the shot and it went in off the post to level the tie. 1-1

United's dominance paid off though and it was 2-1 after 22 minutes. Another great ball forward by Andy Reay seen Mark Naile get on the end of it and after beating his man laid it back for Steve Walls who added his second in identical fashion to his first. 2-1

On 25 minutes Mark Naile played a great ball to Rob Weiss who crossed it back to Steve Walls who completed his hatttrick with a superb diving header and United had a two goal cushion. 3-1

It got even better for United after 37 minutes when Graeme Turner found a superb through ball to Mark Naile and Mark curled it around the keeper from 20 yards out to make it 4-1 to United which is how the half ended

United made changes on 55 minutes with Michael Smith & Steve Barnes replacing Rob Weiss and Craig Averre

On the hour mark Rolls Royce took advantage of poor United defending from a corner which seen the ball poked home from a tight angle at the back post and two minutes later it was 4-3 when Steve Barnes was adjudged to have fouled a Rolls Royce player in the box despite it being a shoulder to shoulder challenge and outside the box but the referee awarded the penalty and it was converted to make it 4-3

Steve Sangha then came on to replace Mark Naile on 65 minutes and United then managed to add a fifth when a challenge seen the ball fall at Graeme Turner's feet, Steve Sangha took the defender away and it opened up for Graeme Turner to go into the open space and stroke the ball past the keeper and into the net. 5-3 to United

Darran Gill came on for Paul Tunstall & Dave Wise took the place of Stu Bowman as United seen out the win to make it 6 unbeaten
