Vedra headed away to Peterlee in an unfamiliar sunny day and in their yellow away kits

The opening was pretty cagey from both sides and Peterlee caused problems very early and got a goal against the run of play but Vedra seemed well up for this game and kept getting the ball down and playing it on the floor and playing well.

Vedra should've scored a couple in a prolonged spell where they dominated but the lads missed chances and Peterlee defended well and made saves.

Vedra got caught on a counter from nowhere and it was 2-0 but it was clinical finishing. Vedra went in at half time 2-0 down

A half time calm chat reminded the lads this game is there for them and they took this info straight into the game and got their first goal on min 1 of the second half as some unreal play from James and Alfie released Addison and he teed up Freddie M to score! Game on

Vedra then were relentless and it was wave after wave of attacks and equalised after 38 mins and it was well deserved! Same combo of lads involved again and Addison teed up Freddie M to make it 2-2

This game was all Vedra now and although Peterlee were very resilient Vedra got their noses in front thanks to a peach of a pass from Tyler which seen Addison again set up Freddie M for his treble! 2-3

Freddie was limping so a change was made and James N sent Addison through to get a goal he well deserved 2-4!

Vedra still kept this relentless pace and it was well deserved when Alfie made it 2-5 and wrapped it up for Vedra

Each and every lad was playing on another level and the lads communicating was great to see
