United got back on top in the last 10 mins of the first half and went in 2-0 up after a good back post finish from Liam Heskett after a good cross ball from Josh

Early second half, after giving away a free kick around the edge of the box, Escomb were back in the game at 2-1

United then responded with an excellent next 15-20 mins and regained their two goal advantage with a well worked goal which was crossed to Ben at the back post who calmly controlled the ball and found the net with a good finish

More United pressure in the closing period could have resulted in three or four more goals but the icing on the cake for a 4-1 win was a top corner “worldy” from Liam Heskett from around 30-35 yards ouot

This was one of the best performances from the lads for a long time and a well deserved 4-1 win with a resounding vote for Liam Heskett to be man of the match
