The Yellows were back in action with another game reversed to be being a home game against Durham United. They were without Callum so Mason volunteered to start in goal.
After an initial shaky start the lads got into the game and had good chances for Lucas and Leon go wide before Lucas sent Sean away to score calmly to make it 1.0.
Two minutes later it got even better as Oscar and Leon combined to send Sean on his way again and make it 2.0. The half continued without too many clear chances, Reggie had a good shot just wide and Finley and Kaden had to do some good defending to keep the score as 2.0 at Half time.
The second half started well again for the Yellows with some chances created but a really sloppy 10 minutes towards the middle of the half saw Durham draw level with 2 goals through some poor defending.
Thank fully the lads were able to get back into gear, Oscar created himself a good chance and good work from Lenny, Ryan and Reggie created a half chance for Thomas before Lucas Bainbridge was able to latch onto a clearance, create himself some room in the box and score to make it 3.2.
There were further chances, notably for Sean to compete his hattrick before in the last minute of the game Mason had to dash off his line and claim the ball from a free-kick to secure the three points for the Yellows.
It was a much closer game that it probably needed to be but overall it was a good performance. Kaden and Finley shared the Star Player award this week but there was other good performances throughout the side in particular from Ryan, and Lucas Branton.
