Back to winning ways for the Yellows

The Yellows were back to league action away to Brandon and after a run of defeats were looking to get back to winning ways against a side that they had beaten earlier in the season.
It didn't start well as in the 2nd minute Callum's clearance hit Kaden and fell straight to the Brandon striker to score. Ten minutes later Brandon doubled their lead with a really similar goal. This time Callum raced off his line to clear only for the ball to cannon back off the same Brandon striker to make it 2-0.
The Yellows responded straight away with Ryan playing a lovely pass to send Lucas Bainbridge away down on the left. Lucas beat his man and played a cross into the box where Lenny set himself and hammered it in.
Minutes later a great long pass from Sam sent Sean away, unfortunately his effort was well saved and his follow up well blocked by the defender. Not be denied though it was Sean that equalised later in the half as again his first shot was blocked but he hit the follow up in to make it 2-2 in the 33rd minute. It was a busy last few minutes of the half as Sean made it 3-2 in the 34th minute with a great shot on the turn into the bottom corner before Brandon equalised as a ball bounced through for their midfielder to hammer it in. 3-3 at half-time.
The second half was always going to prove hard for Brandon as they had to drop to 10 men due to injury. The Yellows though really stepped it up in the half. Ryan got them going with a great goal from 25 yards into the top corner to make it 4-3.
5 Minutes later Lenny sent Sam away down the left, he ran onto the ball and hit a lovely shot into the far top corner to make it 5-3. The Yellows were on top now against a tiring Brandon side. Finely scored at the second attempt after a Thomas corner. Sean hit a shot into the top corner after a nice lay-off from Thomas and in the final minute Oscar got a deserved goal after a great assist by Lucas Bainbridge to make it 8-3 at the end.
A good game of football between 2 teams that just got on with the football. Lucas Bainbridge was given star player for a brilliant performance of wing play but a special mention is needed for Lucas Branton and for Mason who kept driving his team forward.
