United got the game underway with pretty much a brand new team and started well. As the half went on United were under the cosh which lead to going behind with 2 quick goals.

United started to come in to the game when Riley closed the defence down winning the ball and closing in on the goal. Riley took it past another defender and fired the ball from outside the box past the keeper 1-2 and game on. United had found second gear and with Finley finding Riley from a goal kick, Riley seen Lennon making a run and played a ball through. With still quite a bit of work for Lennon to do he took it past 2 players and slots it past the keeper 2-2.

Second half and United had a bit of belief about them starting the second half defending well and still creating chances, Riley was through on goal after a clearance bounced over the defence and takes it in to the box when he was met with the flying studs of the keeper that took him out but to the shock of everyone no penalty was awarded, probably the only time you’ll hear Coach Cal say this "a wish there was VAR!!!"

Despite the massive effort from the 11 boys who turned up it wasn’t to be their day with the other team using all 5 subs well to keep it fresh and they managed to nick a winner 10 minutes from time.

Cal wants to say a huge well done to the lads for there efforts, ran their hearts out right until the end - well done boys
