Vedra went into today's game full of confidence from recent results though again struggling a little for players. This proved to be an issue as the lads were slow to get into the game and a cross from the right evaded everything and found it's way into the far post to make it 1.0 on ten minutes.
Vedra did get into the game for the following 20minutes or so and were almost rewarded as Jamie Coates kit the post after being put through by Ben McRory. Unfortunately though that was as good as it was to get for Vedra in the half as Board Inn scored 2 further goals in part due to generous defending from the Vedra backline to make it 3.0 at Half time.
The second half was pretty even with Vedra just about shading it on chances. Better forward play at least made the Board Inn keeper have to work much harder in the second half than Tom Chapman in the Vedra goal. Unfortunately the final decision making wasn't always the best and the lads never really looked like getting back into the game.
The second half effort was good but all in all a deserved defeat for Vedra this week.
