Vedra were looking to bounce back from the opening day defeat and did so in style especially with some key players missing and a couple of debuts as well
Ethan Meikle put Vedra in front on 20 minutes but that lead was cancelled out 5 minutes later
United took the lead again just before half time when debutant Ethan McGarrity scored to make it 2-1 to Vedra when the whistle went
With 30 minutes left the win was complete as James Slack added Vedra's third goal. The Bamburgh did apply some late pressure but Tom Chapman made two great saves and the defence stood strong to see the game out.
Well done lads for getting those first crucial 3 points on the board and a good standard set going forward
