United travelled to Rickelton to take on Washington Spartans looking to bounce back after last weeks disaster in the county cup, and the lads made sure they did with a great performance

The first half wasn't the greatest but seen United head into the break with a 1-0 lead thanks to a great low drilled free kick by Paul Stokoe which nestled in the bottom corner

United knew they could do better and made three changes at the break and straight away the intensity increased and seen United double their lead in the 49th minute when sub Jordan Monson scored after good play by Gareth Downes

United then added three more goals thanks to a Theo Weiss hattrick which was assisted by Gareth Downes and twice by Ben Wight which gave United a comfortable lead.

Rob Weiss added the sixth goal late on to complete the victory and the clean sheet was kept intact by a brilliant double save by Leon Hurst, keeping out a penalty and the rebound to ensure Spartans didn't score

All round great performance from everyone
