United finished off preseason with a game against Velocity The Albion who had beaten Vedra last week 4-1. This time though the 4-1 scoreline was in United's favour after an impressive performance with some lovely football on show

United went ahead following a lovely move which ended with Jordan Monson and Corey Bell linking up with a neat one-two which Jordan converted well

That was the half time score although United had other chances to extend the lead which weren't taken

United kept up the intensity and doubled their lead in the 53 minute when another good move seen Rob Weiss play the ball square into the box for Dan Godfrey to find the net from a few yards out. 2-0

With 20 minutes left United made it 3-0 after a great solo run by Theo Weiss ended with him scoring the third of the morning and not long after Chris Wasey found Jordan Monson who again scored to grab his second and United's fourth with a good finish

The only negative was that United conceded with 9 minutes left so the clean sheet was lost, but overall a very good performance and the lads are ready for the start of the season next week
