United took on East Herrington but only 10 players turned up so it was going to be a tough ask
An early Herrington goal put United on the back foot but United levelled on 13 minutes when the referee awarded a penalty following a foul on Ross McLagan which Anth Young converted and also seen the Herrington keeper sent off for his reaction to the penalty being awarded
United then went 2-1 up when Ross McLagan seen the sub keeper well off his line and Ross executed a perfect lob from just inside the Herrington half
Herrington levelled just before half time and they came out of the blocks and scored two early second half goals to lead 4-2
Ross McLagan then decided to double his tally in the game and it was pretty much identical with another sublime shot from distance which flew over the keeper and into the net
Tired legs and injuries seen Herrington then push on to add 5 more goals and win it 9-3 with United ending with 8 players on the pitch but everyone gave everything and battled to the end
