United took on Seaham hoping to complete the double over them after the 8-5 win a few weeks back and despite the testing conditions brought home the 3 points to make it 6 points from 6 against the opposition

United kicked off with the wind behind them and the kick off seen Chris Wasey strike the ball towards the Seaham goal only to see it tipped over despite the referee giving a goal kick

United did go ahead after 7 minutes when Theo Weiss broke down the right and pulled the ball back across goal to the awaiting Dan Godfrey who seen his initial shot saved but followed up well to convert the rebound. 0-1

Seaham levelled three minutes later when a long throw was volleyed in from 5 yards out to make it 1-1

United kept chipping away and went into the break with a two goal cushion. With 10 minutes of the half left Chris Wasey won the ball back and it went to Anth Young. Anth looked up and lashed a brilliant shot at goal from 45 yards which flew in off the underside of the crossbar. Great strike and a great goal. 1-2

Anth added his second with two minutes of the half remaining although he didn't know much about it. Sam Wade hit a shot which was probably going wide but it hit Anth on the backside and nestled in the bottom corner. 1-3

Seaham had the wind behind them second half and took advantage within 3 minutes of the restart when a ball over the top was converted at the second attempt but United regained their 2 goal cushion on the hour mark when a Chris Wasey cross fell to Richie Carter who stroked the ball home. 2-4

Seaham made it an interesting final 15 minutes when they added their 3rd but United held out for the win despite the last kick off the game hitting United's post and going wide
