A mistake from United allowed Boldon to take the lead after 12 minutes but United levelled 10 minutes later when Ross McLagan lined up a shot with his right foot which somehow squirmed under the keeper and rolled slowly into the net - they all count!! 1-1

Boldon had a great chance to regain the lead just before the half hour when they were awarded a penalty after a foul by the United keeper Leon Hurst but the spot kick was put wide of the goal however Boldon did go back in front on 39 minutes when a great run down the left seen the ball squared and put in. 1-2

United levelled before half time and it was Chris Sproat who converted a brilliant cross by James Raine with a superb volley which went in off the post. 2-2

Within 8 minutes of the restart United found themselves 4-2 down after a shot from the edge of the box found the net on 50 minutes and then 3 minutes later a lobbed effort somehow went in despite Leon's best efforts to keep it out

United kept going though and made it 3-4 when Theo Weiss took advantage when the ball fell to him at the edge of the box and he made no mistake hitting the back of the net

On the hour though Boldon made it 3-5 with a long range effort that gave Leon no chance but United still didn't give up and with 5 minutes left the Boldon keeper assisted Chris Wasey by giving him the ball and Chris found the back of the net well

Another 5 minutes at the end probably would have seen United level but the full time whistle went and United exit the cup
