United took on Ryhope Village hoping to improve from the last game played between the two sides and indeed United did improve going home with the win

United controlled most of the game and took a deserved lead when Adam Lane found Theo Weiss, Theo took a touch and then placed it into the bottom corner

United changed shape at half time and made 5 changes but continued to be in charge of the game until the referee awarded a penalty out of nowhere when Leon won the ball with a great tackle but the ref pointed to the spot. The penalty was converted and it was 1-1

United had a few chances to regain the lead and took on with 15 minutes left when a ball forward seen Anth Young fouled - it could have been a penalty but the ball fell to Theo Weiss who squared the ball to Ethan Meikle and he stroked it home. Great advantage by the referee!!!

United seen the game out and deserved the victory
