United took on Park View United for the third time this season, this time it was a friendly match but United still wanted to make it 3 wins from 3 against the opposition
United started well but fell behind on 14 minutes. The lead only lasted two minutes when an own goal levelled it for United and United then went 2-1 up a couple of minutes later when Anth Young found Gareth Downes who finished at the near post
On 25 minutes United extended their lead when Jamie Williams cut back from the right hand side and Chris Sproat was there to somehow get the ball into the goal
10 minutes later and United made it 4-1 when Anth Young and Michael Smith played a one-two and Anth who could have shot, squared it to Chris Sproat who grabbed his second with a much clearer strike and the half finished with United 4-1 in front
United made changes at the break and on 48 minutes Anth Young crossed into the box where sub Steve Walls scored at the back post on the stretch.
United were coasting and made it 6-1 when Leon Askew played a superb ball to free Scott Stoker down the right and his cross was pinpoint perfect onto the head of Steve Walls for him to add his second of the game
A disappointing goal was conceded on 60 minutes to make it 6-2 and then came a water break. United made a change which seen Chris Sproat's daughter Lucy come on to play on the same pitch as her dad. Massive thanks to Park View for allowing that to happen and Lucy played really well
In the final minute Park View added their third goal but United won the game comfortably.
Well done to all involved
