United took on Ryhope Village with a number of players missing but it was only a friendly and a good run out for the lads

United's mistakes gifted the opposition a two goal lead but Anthony Lock converted to half the deficit

It was 3-1 to Ryhope at half time and they extended that to 5-1 early in the second half

United then pulled two goals back thanks to James Green and Gareth Downes which United hoped would help them pull back more but unfortunately Ryhope scored another 2 to finish the game as 7-3 winners
