United took on Park View hoping to complete the double over the team sitting bottom of the league and with a full squad United would have won comfortably however today with a bare 11 including a couple with injuries it wasn't going to be a walk in the park
It started well for United despite the windy conditions as Jamie Williams bought a penalty which Chris Sproat converted
United doubled their lead when Anth Young teed up Kevin Philliskirk who stroked the ball into the bottom corner to make it 2-0
A mistake at the back allowed Park View to pull one back before half time
Park View then levelled in the second half but within a minute Anth Young curled a superb shot over the keeper to put United in front.
Anth Young then scored his second after Jamie Williams freed him despite a suspicion of offside and United had their two goal cushion again
However. an Iain Ray own goal gave Park View hope and with tired legs United had to muster up the energy to keep going and see the game out which is what the lads did
Full time and it was a 4-3 win for United
